2021 SMACNA ANNUAL CONVENTION RECAP

SMACNA Greater Chicago members and their families had a great time during the 2021 SMACNA 77th Annual Convention in beautiful Maui, Hawaii, in October.

This year’s event was a high-quality networking and educational experience for all attendees. One of the big highlights is always the Product Show, which includes informative exhibits and hands-on demonstrations of some of the industry’s latest technology and vendor products. Members also attended a lively Chapter Night, spouse breakfast and an after-party featuring a terrific Motown tribute band.

Angie Simon received recognition for her years of service as SMACNA’s first female president before passing the torch to Al LaBella, who will represent SMACNA at the national level through 2022.

All in all, the convention was a great place to reconnect with old friends and industry leaders, while preparing for another exciting year in the sheet metal and HVAC industry!
